Juliana Bizzo é fotógrafa documental brasileira cuja produção investiga identidade, gênero e memória cultural por meio de projetos de longa duração. Com foco em corpos e narrativas historicamente marginalizados por estruturas sociais dominantes, sua prática combina linguagem documental e ativismo visual.
Seu trabalho tem raízes profundas em comunidades LGBTQIAPN+, especialmente nos universos das culturas drag e ballroom, onde investiga presença, intimidade e resistência, sem recorrer ao espetáculo ou à vitimização. Ao mesmo tempo, sua pesquisa se estende a outros contextos sociopolíticos, abordando desigualdades estruturais com olhar crítico e empático.
É integrante do coletivo Alfabetismo Visual e recebeu prêmios como Menção Honrosa no PISPA 2025, dois Alfa Awards (2023 e 2024) e o Alfa Cine Prize (2024). Seu trabalho já foi publicado em veículos como O Globo, Vogue e LensCulture, e exibido em festivais como Head On Photo Festival (Austrália), Paraty em Foco, Foto em Pauta e FotoDoc 2025.

Juliana Bizzo is a Brazilian documentary photographer whose work investigates identity, gender, and cultural memory through long-term projects. Focusing on bodies and narratives historically marginalized by dominant social structures, her images combine documentary practice and visual activism.
Her work is deeply rooted in LGBTQIAPN+ communities, especially within drag and ballroom cultures, where she explores presence, intimacy, and resistance without resorting to spectacle or victimization. At the same time, her research extends to other sociopolitical contexts, addressing structural inequalities through a critical and empathetic lens.
She is a member of the Alfabetismo Visual collective and has received awards including the Honorable Mention at PISPA 2025, two Alfa Awards (2023 and 2024), and the Alfa Cine Prize (2024). Her work has been featured in O Globo, Vogue, LensCulture, and festivals such as Head On Photo Festival (Australia), Paraty em Foco, Foto em Pauta, and FotoDoc 2025.
