Juliana Bizzo é fotógrafa documental brasileira cuja produção investiga identidade, gênero e memória cultural por meio de projetos de longa duração. Como mulher sapatão, desenvolve uma prática atravessada por experiências de escuta, presença e afeto, especialmente em contextos marcados pela marginalização histórica de corpos e narrativas LGBTQIAPN+.
Seu trabalho se desenvolve em diálogo constante com as culturas drag e ballroom, onde investiga presença, intimidade e resistência com delicadeza e escuta, recusando estereótipos de excesso ou sofrimento. Ao mesmo tempo, sua pesquisa se estende a outros contextos sociopolíticos, abordando desigualdades estruturais com olhar crítico e empático.
É integrante dos coletivos Alfabetismo Visual e Mulheres Luz, e recebeu prêmios como Menção Honrosa no PISPA 2025, dois Alfa Awards (2023 e 2024) e o Alfa Cine Prize (2024). Seu trabalho já foi publicado em veículos como O Globo, Vogue e LensCulture, e exibido em festivais como Head On Photo Festival (Austrália), Paraty em Foco, Foto em Pauta e FotoDoc 2025.

Juliana Bizzo is a Brazilian documentary photographer whose work explores identity, gender, and cultural memory through long-term projects. As a lesbian woman, her practice is shaped by experiences of listening, presence, and affection, especially within communities historically marginalized by dominant social structures.
Her work is in ongoing dialogue with drag and ballroom cultures, where she investigates presence, intimacy, and resistance with sensitivity and attention, avoiding both stereotypes of excess and narratives rooted solely in suffering. At the same time, her research extends to broader sociopolitical contexts, addressing structural inequalities with a critical and empathetic gaze.
She is a member of the collectives Alfabetismo Visual and Mulheres Luz, and has received awards such as Honorable Mention at PISPA 2025, two Alfa Awards (2023 and 2024), and the Alfa Cine Prize (2024).
